Qwil access suspension: The Qwil subscription for this organisation is ending soon. Please request or download the chats and files before expiry. Access may be restored automatically upon renewal.
Why am i seeing this message?
The organisation who has invited you to use Qwil Messenger is the data controller and responsible for your data. Our system indicates that expiry is coming soon and the organisation has not yet upgraded which is why we are informing you.
Should they decide not upgrade ahead of the expiry of the Qwil service, all users will lose access to the services and the ability to view or download the chat data and documents.
When subscription expires, you may retain access to Qwil application but your access to that specific organisation and chats will be paused. Access can be restored by reactivating or upgrading until it is deleted according to our terms.
How can I request my data ahead of expiry?
Your organisation may have downloaded transcripts of the conversations and documents already. In that case - you can simply request access to your staff representative if required. Qwil Messenger is not the data controller and therefore cannot provide the information directly.
How can i download my data?
You can also download the transcripts and documents on desktop by clicking on the right menu within a chat thread. We explain further in this article
The organisation has decided to upgrade - do i need to do anything?
Nothing to do. The service will continue and you will retain access to all historical data and documents. The access may be temporarily frozen ahead of the upgrade but everything will be restored once that is executed.
How do I know if the organisation will upgrade
You will need to ask your organisation. As data controllers, they need to inform you on the continuity of service and access to your historical data.
