If you are receiving an error message when trying to invite a client, the most likely cause is that your permission is only as a "Staff" user. Only "User Administrators" and "System Administrators" can invite other users to Qwil.
Please ask your system administrator or other user administrators to upgrade your role to a user administrator. They just need to go to Admin, Staff and your profile and Edit the role.
