What to expect

Within Qwil there are two main methods of downloading data: within a chat and with the data reviewer. This guide will show you how you can export a copy of your chat history as a PDF file.

Exporting within a chat

Within each chat you will see a export button on the right sidebar. Clicking on that button will allow you to download your chat history. Note: Due to file size limitations, each export will be for a month of chat history.

Exporting chat from Data Reviewer

The other option for downloading chat data is with the Data reviewer. This can be useful if you have Level 2 or Level 3 Data Reviewer permissions and you would like to download data from a chat which you were not a participant in. There are different access levels for Data Reviewer:

  • Level 1. All clients in contact list conversations - users with this permission can find any conversation where a client who is in their contact list is a participant.

  • Level 2. All client conversations - users with this permission can find any conversation where a client is a participant.

  • Level 3. All conversations - users with this permission can find any conversation that has taken place in your organisation.

If you do not have data reviewer permissions, please ask your admin to grant them or follow this guide.

To download data from the Data Reviewer you have several search options. You can filter by:

  • Keywords
  • Start date
  • End date
  • Chat participants
  • Senders
  • Messages with attachments

Once you search, you can see all matching chat. Clicking on them will allow you to go into the chat (if you're a participant), list all messages in the chat, view/download documents in the chat or download a transcript of the chat. Note: Due to file size limitations, each export will be for a month of chat history.

Can I restore my access to Qwil if my organisation is Frozen?
