In Qwil, conversations happen in chats. To start and continue conversations, learn how to send messages.
To send a message:
On web:
Type your message in the message field at the bottom of the screen.
Press Enter or click on the icon

to send.
Note: If you'd like to send a message in several lines, type SHIFT + ENTER to start a new line. You can also change this setting in your Account & Settings by click on your avatar on your desktop so that ENTER starts a new line.

On mobile:
Type your message in the message field at the bottom of the screen.
Click on the icon

to send.
Message drafts:
If you have any unfinished or unsent messages these will be considered a draft. You can see the draft label of a message in your chat list.
Having a draft message in a chat will automatically move that chat to the top of the chat list.
To discard a draft you simply need to erase the message from the message field.
Note: Drafts do not sync across different devices.
If a message fails to send:
On web:
You will see an error under the message. To re-send your message, click on 'Retry'
On mobile :
You will see an exclamation mark next to the failed message inside the chat. To re-send your message, tap the exclamation mark icon and select resend.
